Opposition and Faith: An Audio Conversation With Shawn Vestal (Part 1)

Bloom Founding Editor Sonya Chung  had the chance to chat with Shawn Vestal, author of the debut story collection Godforsaken Idaho.  Vestal spoke with us by phone from Spokane, WA.  He talks about faith and and its dark side, family and late-life blooming; and he reads from the collection’s imaginative and poignant opening story, “The First Several Hundred Years Following My Death.”
